Holocaust Memorial Day

Marking the annual Holocaust Memorial Day, the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust holds a public event on the Millennium Bridge, commemorating those who lost their lives to Nazi persecution and in subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur. The theme for this year's event is 'Communities Together: Build a Bridge', and the event will see ACM Gospel Choir performing a specially commissioned song, 'A Bridge of Voice', and Holocaust survivor Ben Helfgott lighting a candle in memory of the victims.
