Time Out says

You don’t see many festivals billing themselves as a blend of ‘philosophy and music’ but that’s exactly what you get at HowTheLightGetsIn. The weekend of ideas normally takes place at Kenwood House in Hampstead, but this year, it’s going global with a virtual event that will cross time zones between London, New York and Delhi. There are 19 hours of events planned for each day. Confirmed speakers are Nobel Prize winning economist Joseph Stiglitz, Labour MP Dawn Butler, journalist Polly Tonybee, artist Anish Kapoor and author Colm Tóibín. Topics will move from ‘eradicating gender’ to ‘mind over matter’ and ‘the freedom paradox’. When you’re ready to relax and put your brain on ice for a bit, you can plug in for a streamed DJ set or the headline gig from American singer Judy Collins. Book your ticket here
