Time Out says

East London’s very own purveyor of quality goods for monsters of every kind is popping up in the gorgeous surroundings of Leadenhall Market for spooky season. Explore a miniature version of the curiosity shop which invites vampires, werewolves and humans to prowl the shelves and pick up jars of ‘human snot’ (which tastes surprisingly like lemon curd?), cubes of ‘earwax’ (or could that be fudge?), ‘human blood vessels’, ‘rat brains’ and broomsticks and wands.

The shop advises that the market is “easliy accessed by the London Sewer Network, Other World entry points and the No.35 bus. There is also extensive room for broom parking on the vaulted ceiling.” But, if you have trouble finding it look for the huge purple tentacles protruding out of the building for Halloween. All profits go to the Ministry of Stories – an initiative set up by author Nick Hornby that sees professional writers mentor young people in the art of story writing.
