Inspired by Africa pop-up shop

Ah, spontaneous buys, remember those? As much as we all love the hit of dopmaine that arrives along with an online shopping delivery, we really have missed the simple art of browsing shop shelves. Now that the latest phase in the roadmap has hit, non-essential retail is allowed to reopen, and that includes pop-up shops. From today (April 12) the Inspired by Africa market will be making a month-long appearance at Boxpark Shoreditch, and will be selling items from 12 independent Black-owned brands. There’ll be kente cloth bags from Afi Akos, scented candles from Young Mary’s, and cute clothes from Simply Grace Tots for all those new lockdown babies that keep appearing.
