This fun family day-out is being held to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Horse Rangers Association – and raise money towards their work teaching youngsters how to ride and care for horses and ponies. The Rangers are based in the Royal Mews at Hampton Court Palace, and that is the start for both routes: the Royal Park Hopper runs 25 miles on quiet roads and is ideal for families, while the Charity Challenge is a tougher 75-mile route (graded 3 by British Cycling); both end at the London Irish Rugby Club in Sunbury.
