Russia Park

The largest of the 'national houses' representing different countries during the London 2012 Olympic Games, Russia Park features performance spaces, picnic zones, a sport activities area, masterclasses and exhibitions. During the day, Russian performers roam the park playing Russian music of various kinds. The region's dance, craft and cuisine are also showcased. In the sports zone there's a mini ice rink, a snowboarding simulator, ice curling tracks and more to watch or try out. The nearby Sochi Park pavilion on Albert Memorial Lawns is a showcase of Sochi, which will host the 2014 Winter Olympics. Attractions include an interactive exhibit that takes visitors on a chairlift ride into the Sochi mountains. Sochi Park also hosts ice skating performances from Olympic and world champions in the Sochi Ice Arena (see the website for performances; from £15).
