The wellcome's Friday late nighter this week focuses on death, our preparation for it, and what our attitudes about it say about the way we live. In a lively four-hour event, visitors can experience a brush with death, enjoy a range of short talks, decorate a coffin, hear stories from around the world and listen to some New Orleans jazz funeral sounds. The event is a precursor to the centre's big winter exhibition, 'Death: A Self-Portrait'. The event is free but some talks will be ticketed, with tickets available from 7pm on the night.
