Part of the museum's three-year 'Climate Changing' programme of events, this display features art projects by established and emerging names, including Thomas Thwaites's 'Toaster Project' to build a toaster from scratch, beginning with raw materials and ending with a product that can be sold for £3.99, Jem Finer's long-running sound art work 'Longplayer', and 'New Landscapes' by Yao Lu, a photographic re-imagining of traditional Chinese landscape painting featuring mountains of garbage.
