The Climber

Floral designer Chris Jones has created a life-size living sculpture, titled 'The Climber', that makes its way up Southwark Cathedral's spiral staircases and emerges through the roof hatch doors. A particularly good vantage point from which to see the work is aboard any train travelling through London Bridge station. The display culminates with the Leprosy Mission Festival of Flowers (Aug 23-26) at the cathedral, which showcases the best in floral art (see the website for full details).
