This exhibition at the Garden Museum celebrates the life and work of garden designer Russell Page. Having initially trained as a painter he began his gardening career at Longleat House in the 1930's. Amongst his most famous designs are the Battersea Park Festival Gardens, made for the 1951 Festival of Britain, and the garden at La Mortella, on the island of Ischia, designed for Sir William and Lady Walton.
Alongside paintings, photographs and drawings from Russell Pages' own archives will be material from the RHS and public and private collections from America and Europe.
