The Tunnel of Love

Crawl through a short tunnel to descend into a subterranean amphitheatre half the size of Shakespeare's Globe for this Valentine's Day event. The Grand Entrance Hall has been unused and inaccessible for 140 years but the Brunel Museum is presenting an unusual tour based around love stories relating to the history of the chamber. Museum director Robert Hulse will lead you down the staircase and tell the story of Brunel's love and the world's largest underground meeting hall for lovers.
