Twickenham Guided Walk

This leisurely winter walk is perfect for stretching the legs after a Boxing Day spent in front of the sofa, eating or napping. The refreshing two mile stroll starts at St Margarets Station and takes in a picturesque stretch of the Thames boasting rich heritage and scandalous stories of French royal exiles, mistresses, writers and poets. The late, great landscape painter JMW Turner also settled in the town and his house will be passed along the route that finishes at Twickenham's Thames riverfront. Tickets should be booked in advance.
