Time Out says

This five-day festival sees UCL open its doors to show off their latest research and celebrate the arts. More than 30 free events will take place, including tours, concerts, exhibitions, talks and screenings. Highlights include a talk and recital by the university's laptop orchestra (May 20 1pm-2pm), a performance of the duet Mendelssohn composed to pay for cake (May 19 1pm-2pm), a walk based on Cocteau's diaries (May 21 6.30pm-8pm) and a pitch by five panellists who are determined you should read the book they recommend (May 20 6.30pm-8pm). Events are free but places can be booked in advance for many of them. Visit the UCL website for the full line-up.
