As the final weeks of summer come to a close, we're trying to scarf down as many hot dogs and ice cream cones as we can. But if you're looking for something a little more refined than a ketchup-slathered sausage to send off summer, we've got you covered with a few Labor Day Weekend celebrations happening in restaurants across the city (it's okay—you can still enjoy that hot dog).

The Line Hotel (Koreatown): Roy Choi is throwing a Papi's Labor Day Pool Party with a splash fest on the Line Hotel's rooftop pool deck on both Sunday and Monday. There will be BBQ eats and plenty of cocktails, and it's free to attend. Sun 3:30-9pm, Mon noon-7pm

L'Ami (Santa Monica): The charming French spot in Santa Monica is serving both brunch and dinner specials Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Stop by for a three-course dinner ($39), or head here in the morning for an egg dish plus bottomless mimosas for $25. Fri-Sun 10am-2pm, 5:30-10pm

Viviane (Beverly Hills): Executive chef Michael Hung is offering an AYCE Filipino cookout at his poolside restaurant, where diners can fork over $34 to enjoy a backyard pig roast, classic chicken adobo, summer squash guisado and leche flan, among others. Cocktails from bar director Ryan Wainwright will also be available.

Brouwerij West (San Pedro): Labor Day falls in conjunction LA's first-ever Fleet Week, so neighboring Brouwerij West is going all out this weekend. On Friday, the brewery will host live music from Kim and the Created along with two burger trucks. On Sunday, treat yourself to brunch and beer with the Rooster breakfast truck and an early brew. On Monday, stop by to fill up your growler and snag a burger from the District Burger food truck. Fri noon-11pm, Sun 10am-9pm, Mon noon-6pm

Del Frisco's Grille (Pasadena): The neighborhood favorite is extending their Baby Back Ribs special (usually only available on Thursdays) all weekend long, plus throwing in 30 percent off select bottles of wine throughout Labor Day weekend. We'll cheers to that. Fri 11am-11pm, Sat 4-11pm, Sun & Mon 11am-10pm

Terrine (West Hollywood): Chef and owner Kris Morningstar is feeding the Labor Day masses with an AYCE BBQ available at $40 per person. Dishes include pickle brine fried chicken, swordfish brochettes, Texas-style brisket and more. Sun 11am-9:30pm

Playa Provisions (Playa del Rey): Celebrate the holiday with a Labor Day Block Party in the parking lot across from Playa Provisions, where guests can enjoy a beer garden, cocktails, burgers and hot dogs. A DJ will be providing the entertainment, plus there will be an inflatable obstacle course for the kiddos. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Sun noon-5pm

Gwen (Hollywood): Looking to grill in your own backyard instead? Head to Gwen Butcher Shop to choose from two grilling packages: the Grilling Essentials Package ($150) featuring ground beef patties, homemade sausages, a ribeye filet and a whole chicken; or the Premium Grilling Package ($300), which offers Wagyu beef patties, steaks, homemade sausages, a whole chicken and a choice of duck breast, lamb chops or pork chops. Call 323-946-7500 to order; available through Labor Day weekend.
