Looking for a little pre-Halloween fun? Carrie fans are getting a special treat this year in honor of the horror classic's 40th anniversary. Not only will there be a screening at the Theatre at Ace Hotel on October 14, attendees will be able to rub elbows with the film's cast and crew during a screening party. While Ace's website doesn't list who from the cast is expected to attend, according to CBS, Piper Laurie (Margaret White), Nancy Allen (Chris Hargensen), William Katt (Tommy Ross) and P.J. Soles (Norma) are all expected to attend. Sissy Spacek, who played Carrie, isn't likely to be on hand, but that's probably a good thing for us scaredy-cats.

In addition to the screening and a Q&A with the cast and crew, the lobby will be transformed into a senior prom circa 1976—though, they promise this one will be rampage-free. There will be a costume contest (so all guests are encouraged to dress the part), a photo booth and "Bloody Carrie" cocktails to sip on while a live DJ spins tunes—this is a prom, after all.

The event is being put on by weSpark, the Ace Hotel and Scream Factory. All proceeds from the event will go directly toward benefitting weSpark's cancer support programs, so at least you won't be scaring yourself silly for no reason.

The Carrie 40th Anniversary Screening and Prom with Cast and Crew will take place the Theatre at Ace Hotel on October 14 at 8pm; tickets range from $25-$125.
