Big fan of Nick Cave? Well, so are the folks behind Lethal Amounts, a counter-culture gallery space focusing on underground movements and rock 'n roll extremes. Nick Cave definitely fits that bill, and to celebrate the man and his most ubiquitous prop—a dangling cigarette—Lethal Amounts is staging a one-night-only art show at the Ace Hotel in DTLA entitled Nick Cave Smoking.

On June 28, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will perform at the Theatre at Ace Hotel; before the show, this one-of-a-kind art installation (officially endorsed by Nick Cave himself) will be on view in the Ace Hotel's Segovia Hall on the second floor of the hotel. The exhibition includes photographs from esteemed photographers such as Dave Corio, Ed Colver, Polly Borland and David Arnoff, among others, all presenting Nick Cave in different ways with one common theme throughout—his cigarette.

You don't need a ticket to the show (or a hotel room key) to check out Nick Cave Smoking; if you're over 18 years old, you're good to go. If you don't have concert tickets, head up to the Upstairs roof bar after perusing the exhibit for an afterparty featuring DJ sets by DJ Danny Lethal, Shannon Cornett and a few special guests.
