Get tea drunk at G&B Coffee throughout September

Have you been to G&B at Grand Central Market since they've snazzed it up a bit? You should. It's pretty. It has a back bar and everything, where visitors looking to get their caffeine fix can sit at the coffee bar on all sides, chatting with their fellow drinkers or staring off into the distance.

G&B focuses primarily on coffee, but this month they're launching a new Tea Drunk program. Every weekday evening—that's Monday through Friday, 4pm to close—throughout the month of September, the back bar will turn into a tea lover's dream, debuting new teas, Oolong infusions, a matcha milkshake and more.

Oolong infusions range from the Iron Goddess, a round and roasty Chinese Oolong, to the Formosa Yancha, a yancha cultivar grown in Shan Lin Xi, Taiwan. There are green, white and black teas, cold teas and sparkling teas, and that matcha shake—a blend of McConnell's sweet cream ice cream and matcha. It's enough to make any java fiend convert.
