So you're tired of standing in the brunch line at Sqirl, waiting 45 minutes for a table at Gjelina and wondering why everyone is taking so long to finish their French toast at EAT. Real problems, guys. Thankfully, there are a couple new brunches—boozy or otherwise—in town, and their newbie status likely means shorter wait times. Check out these restaurants where you can now score an eggs Benedict, some quality pancakes and a much-needed mimosa.

E.P. & L.P. (La Cienega): The swanky spot is popular for dinner and drinks, but now their recently launched daytime brunch is bringing people to E.P. & L.P. when the sun's out. Try the B.A.E.—a toasted bagel with avocado, hard boiled egg, chili jam; add bacon or chicken sausage for $3. Sat & Sun noon-4pm

Odys + Penelope (La Brea): Chefs Karen and Quinn Hatfield have run a successful dinner program at Odys + Penelope since it opened, but they've recently added brunch to their lineup—and we're pretty stoked about it. The grilled prawns and cauliflower grits are exceptional, along with the cornmeal ricotta pancakes and grilled salmon sandwich. For a limited time, diners will get a free bellini with their meal. Sat & Sun 10am-2:30pm

Go Get Em Tiger (Los Feliz): It's an old coffee shop with a new add on—a beautiful patio on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Feliz. But there's more here than just lattes and shots of espresso. Come for brunch and you'll be rewarded with baked pancakes with crème fraîche and preserves, adobo grain bowls, soft scrambled eggs and house-made granola. Daily 7am-3pm

Border Grill (Santa Monica): Border Grill is closing up its Santa Monica location on October 8 (sob!), and they're going out with a serious—and boozy—bang. Head in for brunch and you'll find bottomless mimosas for $8 and unlimited small plates for $26 per person. Sat & Sun 10am-3pm
