Yamashiro brings back its summer farmers market

This summer, the famously scenic Yamashiro is going to be your go-to date spot—but not for a meal in the dining room. The romantic, hilltop locale will be bringing back a weekly night market featuring food vendors, live entertainment, cocktails and, of course, some of the most impressive skyline views anywhere in Los Angeles.

Stop by on Wednesdays from 5pm to 9pm to enjoy a stroll through the market. A free shuttle will pick you up at the base of their hill to bring you up to enjoy dishes from Acapulco Pico, Dolce Monachelli's, Hillside Farms, the Original Scratch BBQ, Me Gusta Thai Chicken, Fanciful Gourmet and other vendors and food trucks. There will also be stands offering fresh produce and handcrafted items.

Yamashiro’s outdoor Pagoda Bar will be open in the restaurant’s garden, offering tropical and Asian-inspired cocktails like lychee martinis and coconut mai tais for you to sip while you watch the sun set. The Pagoda Bar also offers its own menu of bites to try.

The Yamashiro Farmers Market only happens in certain years and has been off since 2014. During that time, Yamashiro has gone through some changes in management and ownership, closures and reopenings. We’re glad they’ve come out the other side and brought back this romantic summer tradition.

The Yamashiro Farmers Market takes place on Wednesdays from 5pm to 9pm, from May 24 to September 6 at Yamashiro, 1999 North Sycamore Avenue in Hollywood.
