This long-running weekly at WeHo's iconic Abbey is hosted by Robin Gans, a psychologist who set out to create a safe and positive space and ended up launching one of the largest lesbian-friendly party promotion companies in the country. Featuring rotating DJs and themes, there's no cover charge and you can expect to see plenty of the famous GB2 go-go dancers.

An institution now for almost a quarter-century, Rainbow Skate is LA's only weekly LGBT roller disco night. All orientations are welcome, just come ready to dance and skate the night away. Entry is $8.75 and skate rental adds another $4.25. Disco fabulous attire is encouraged.

This bi-coastal party is the work of popular LGBTQ scene-maker and DJ Whitney Day, who launched Heartbreaker in New York and popped it up in Las Vegas before starting this permanent residency inside the Sunset Strip location of the Standard Hotel.

Prepare to get wet at this summer camp style daytime pool party with competitive games and events. Make new friends and join a team for sychronized swimming, arm wrestling or floatie races. Milk Milk Lemonade resident DJs will provide the background music.

This monthly queer girl party by local promoters Queertainment features guest and resident DJs as well as painters, dancers, burlesque numbers and other fun entertainment. Genres to dance to include EDM, house or hip hop depending on which travelling DJ drops in on any given night.

Echo Park neighborhood watering hole Little Joy transforms itself every second Sunday into a queer lady (and ally) friendly happy hour. Presented by LA Ladies, the night usually features a band and DJ set from local acts like DeadPanzies or DJ Kid Sister from 88.9FM KXLU. Laidback and boozy, enjoy $5 well drinks and beers, a pool table and a riot grrrl edge.

Take the excuse to show off your athleisure style at this DJ night with a women-in-sports theme. DJs spin a mix of everything spanning from femme punk to R&B for an inclusive LGBTQ crew. Head to the upstairs loft space if you want to shake it on the small dance floor or scope out a table for dinner, drinks and lounging in the main dining room.

This annual Palm Springs LGBT affair—billed as "the largest girl party music festival in the world" by organizers—draws thousands of revelers to the desert for a weekend of music and events. Launched over 25 years ago by Mariah Hanson, what started as a single party for 1,500 now draws ten times that number for a weekend of events at resorts and clubs across the city.
