Chappell Roan is coming back to Los Angeles, but not for anything as mundane as a concert.
Roan and her Midwest Princess Project have announced The Super Graphic Spectacular, a two-night fundraiser at the Shrine on October 21 and 22. The event will combine live music, drag, comedy, special guests and community activities, with "a special Chappell Roan performance" included. (How special and what kind of performance are not elaborated on.) More performers and guests will be announced later.

The event is the flagship annual fundraiser for the Midwest Princess Project, the nonprofit Roan launched in 2025 to support trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities. But rather than just raising money via the two nights of concerts, the organization says the Super Graphic Spectacular will include hands-on volunteer opportunities supporting local LGBTQ+ organizations, providing a real sense of contributing rather than just donating.
And the money goes where it needs to: All net proceeds from the event will support the Midwest Princess Project’s programs and partner organizations. The project says it has already raised $800,000, supporting more than 60 organizations, including the Ali Forney Center, the LGBT Center, TransLatin@ Coalition and Trans Wellness Center, while also supporting Backline, which provides mental-health resources to music-industry workers.
The event also arrives at an interesting moment for Roan, whose relationship with her enormous fanbase has occasionally been, shall we say, problematic. But if there is one place where thousands of people screaming the lyrics to “Good Luck Babe” while respecting personal boundaries seems remotely achievable, it might be at the Shrine for a charity event featuring drag queens and a volunteer component.
Tickets are being sold through Fair AXS, and registration is required. Registration closes August 11 at 8:59pm PT, with selected fans notified beginning August 17 and ticket sales taking place in waves from August 18 through 20. Registration does not guarantee tickets.
