Bagel Boss, a popular East Coast bagel joint that boasts locations primarily in New York plus a couple in New Jersey and Florida, has officially invaded the West Coast market, opening its first L.A. store at 3116 West Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank.

As you may gather from the menu, the destination serves offerings similar to the ones sold at its largely Long Island-based locations. Standouts include classic smoked fish dishes, signature sandwiches like the Reuben (grilled pastrami, coleslaw) and the CEO (avocado, mozzarella, tomato, roasted red peppers), fresh salads (fair warning: they are huge), eggs made any way and, of course, a ton of bagels.

If the public’s reaction to the news on social media is of any indication, the new eatery is going be very successful on this side of the country. “Ready for all the schmear on my everything bagel,” one Instagram user commented under an announcement post.

Although it’s certainly the sort of deli that’s synonymous with a quick, grab-and-go sort of breakfast or lunch, Bagel Boss isn’t impervious to virality, either: The menu features a very-pink strawberry cream cheese, a similarly hued blueberry version and a funfetti cream cheese (that, honestly, doesn’t look all that appealing, at least visually). If you want go all in on the colorful look, you can even opt to spread those schmears on a rainbow bagel.

Or, perhaps, follow our lead and go for a classic bagel with cream cheese and lox—we’ll find out soon enough whether or not it’s in the same league as the best bagels in L.A.

Bagel Boss is located at 3116 West Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank. It’s open daily from 6am to 4pm.
