Who’s ready to kiss 2020 goodbye? We know we are. It’s been a challenging year for many (R.I.P. Miami restaurants that closed permanently) but it’s also been a year of growth, transformation and regeneration. For us, that meant temporarily changing our name to Time In to bring you fun and safe things to do at home—from sharing the recipe for Miami’s best banana bread and highlighting the local museums to visit from your couch to curating a list of the city’s top takeout and delivery options.

We were with you every step of the way as our city reopened. As part of our Love Local series, we filled you in on Miami’s new era of cinemas, which included a pop-up experience at Hard Rock Stadium (Lucky you who watched a flick while parked on the 50-yard line!), floating screens for boat-ins on Biscayne Bay and drive-ins galore. When the city shut down indoor dining, we introduced you to the ingenious operators who turned their parking lots and sidewalks into convivial areas where customers could safely enjoy a meal outdoors. (See here, here and definitely here.)

From South Beach and Coconut Grove to pockets of Downtown, Wynwood and Brickell, Miami neighborhoods came together for the community. We’re in awe of the businesses that pivoted, the folks who stepped up to help those in need and the brave people who stood up for what they believed in. You are 2020’s silver lining. Thank you.

With just a few days left in the year, we’re looking ahead to 2021 and everything it has in store for us: more badass business owners, more brave locals and more incredible stories we can’t wait to share with you. Happy New Year, Miami! We freaking made it.
