By now, you’re probably spending more of your day doing things virtually than IRL. It’s actually pretty efficient when you think about all of the places you can visit and things you can do. For instance, yesterday, we visited Milan’s Il Duomo for a performance by Andrea Bocelli and then jetted off to Broadway for a showing of Jesus Christ Superstar. All that and we barely lifted a finger.

You can do the same kind of exploring right here in Miami thanks to Wyn At Home (stylized as #WynAtHome on social media), Wynwood’s comprehensive digital series giving viewers access to all aspects of life in the arts district. Programming takes place live on Wynwood’s Instagram and Facebook pages and has already included a Friday night house party in collaboration with 1-800-Lucky and a taco Tuesday cooking sesh with Coyo Taco.

This week’s culinary events include a Monday happy hour with Coyo’s Scott Linquist, Wednesday evening’s cooking demo led by Alter’s Chef Brad Kilgore and a beer cocktail making lesson at Veza Sur on Friday at 4pm. Food and drink not your thing? WynAtHome has plans to broadcast classes from Sol Yoga, performances by artists-in-residence at the Miami Light Project and even a late-night reggaeton bash courtesy of El Patio.

Your own personal perreo party? A whole six-pack of Veza Sur beer just for you? Drinking and dancing in Wynwood without worrying about parking or catching an Uber home? Social-distancing does have its perks.
