Though rather esoteric in scope, this show of contemporary art that "explores the material qualities of language" has some exciting works that are bound to captivate young art lovers, including an airbrushed, rainbow-colored open book by Tauba Auerbach and Robert Smithson's A Heap of Language. The pieces run the gamut from prints, drawings and paintings to video, audio, film and sculpture, with works by the 12 present-day artists interspersed with seminal pieces from the collection by key 20th-century artists. Ages 9 and up.
