The collective of artists and designers known as Futurefarmers takes over the museum's rotunda with an interactive installation that re-creates the intellectual inquiry that went on in a shoemaker's studio during the days of Socrates. In addition to showcasing a cobbler's bench and shoe racks, the ten-day exhibit hosts collaborative projects with the public. Depending on the day, visitors could be asked to participate in outdoor walks, in which groups collect dirt on the sidewalk to be made into ink, or to help print cerebral texts onto long strips of paper rolled out on the sidewalks, using 36 specialized printing shoes that act as "moveable" type.
