Mancala is a fun and challenging game, traditionally played with stones, seeds, or shells, that's been around for centuries in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and South America. Now Mancala enthusiast and scholar (yes, there is such a thing!) Alex de Voogt will teach you how to play the game, and how it came into being. This event is a part of the “African-American Musical Mosaic” weekend at AMNH. All ages.
