African-American sculptor and printmaker Elizabeth Catlett's influential—and often political—artworks are celebrated in an exhibit that explores the pioneering artist's influence on later generations. Contemporary pieces, including Shinique Smith's graffiti-inspired paintings and Hank Willis Thomas's photographs and graphic designs dissecting pop culture and race, are on view alongside 40 of Catlett's works.
