Ellis Island Asian American Heritage Festival

Hop on the ferry and head to Ellis Island for this free festival celebrating Asian American Heritage Month. When kids aren't participating in educational workshops, they'll be wowed by traditional dragon and lion dances, as well as the innovative performances of the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company. This year, the company partnered up with the Andy Lin of the New Asia Chamber of Music Society, Children’s Orchestra Society and the Chinese American Chorus of New York to produce Spring Breeze, a new dance based on a Taiwanese folk song.
