Here’s something that’s going to age you and fast: the world of Harry Potter turns 20 this year! The Boy Who Lived continues to enchant children around the world and now little New Yorkers can celebrate the 20th anniversary of the book series at a Harry Potter-themed exhibit at the Met. "Griffins, Goblets and Gold: A Wizarding Tour in the Metropolitan Museum of Art" will explore spaces and art objects that are reminiscent of those found in the books. Search for horcrux-like objects in a scavenger hunt, play games and participate in art activities and then head off with a list of resources to continue the magic at home. In July, the Met will celebrate Harry’s birthday month with costume contests, giveaways and end the whole with a Boy Who Lived Wizarding Weekend July 28-31. It’s a must if you have a Harry Potter fan on your hands! All ages.

We, my fiance and I, had a magical time at the met on the griffins, goblets, and gold tour. My first time at the met my fiance suprised me with a magical tour for my birthday gift. I am convinced all tours should be as magically inspired. Our tour guide, Evan, was witty and warm as she was creatively genius in all things Harry Potter. We had so much fun and the memories will forever be cherished. I can see years of conversations together with my love, "remember on the tour of griffins, goblets, and gold when...". Thank you Evan and family for your dedication and magical inspiration. And always, god bless.
