Here’s something that’s going to age you and fast: the world of Harry Potter turns 20 this year! The Boy Who Lived continues to enchant children around the world and now little New Yorkers can celebrate the 20th anniversary of the book series at a Harry Potter-themed exhibit at the Met. "Griffins, Goblets and Gold: A Wizarding Tour in the Metropolitan Museum of Art" will explore spaces and art objects that are reminiscent of those found in the books. Search for horcrux-like objects in a scavenger hunt, play games and participate in art activities and then head off with a list of resources to continue the magic at home. In July, the Met will celebrate Harry’s birthday month with costume contests, giveaways and end the whole with a Boy Who Lived Wizarding Weekend July 28-31. It’s a must if you have a Harry Potter fan on your hands! All ages.
