Kwanzaa: Sankofa-Inspired Jewelry Design

Families can gather around and create heart-shaped necklaces for Kwanzaa. The trinkets will be inspired by the symbol of sankofa, which means to “reach back and get it,” to serve as a reflection of the past in order to prepare for the future. Sign up for the workshop in the museum lobby one hour before the event. Ages 6 and up.
