Nearly Lear

Susanna Hamnett is behind this one-woman show based on Shakespeare's King Lear, about an elderly royal whose family falls into disarray after he retires and divides his estate unfairly. In Hamnett's production, the tragedy is presented through the eyes of Lear's fool, Norris, adding a much-needed dose of humor to a usually stark work. Ages 12 and up.
