Steven Isserlis, a cellist and the author of Why Beethoven Threw the Stew and Why Handel Waggled His Wig, takes the stage for a musical lesson about a great teenage composer: Felix Mendelssohn. Little ones might even get inspired to start their own musical career after learning that this artist—who happens to be a distant cousin of Isserlis's—created bona fide masterpieces before turning 17. Ages 6 to 10.
