Playmaking and Creative Design

Part of Irondale's Big Box of Distractions series, this stage workshop led by director of education Amanda Hinkle introduces theater fanatics to set, costume and prop design, as well as the art of directing. After a basic lesson, Hinkle takes the notion of "artistic chaos" to a whole new level as children use objects and a little imagination to make a 3-D story. Ages 8 to 16.
