Time Out says

May 17 marks Norwegian Constitution Day in Norway, which is basically like our Fourth of July. What, you don't know how to celebrate the day? If we are being honest, neither do we. Lucky for both of us, New York's only Norwegian cocktail bar is inviting everyone to get in on the fun.

This Saturday, May 17, starting at 2pm, KABIN is hosting a Champagne brunch to mark the day of national pride. For the holiday, the bar will be doling out Danish dogs, Swedish meatballs and seafood, including Norwegian shrimp and oysters, for the snacking. As for libations, two heavyweights of the bar scene will be shaking up cocktails for the momentous occasion. Guest bartenders include Stig Bareksten, one of Norway’s most acclaimed distillers and founder of Bareksten Spirits, and Sondre Kasin, fellow Norwegian and director of bars at COTE Korean Steakhouse. Sponsored by Harahorn Gin and Bareksten Spirits, the duo will be shaking up drinks crafted with aquavit and gins, alongside tons and tons of bubbles.

Walk-ins are available, but if you'd rather make a reservation, email info@kabin.nyc for a table. Skål!
