Time Out says

This sky-high bar atop the Pod 39 hotel offers prime views of the Empire State and Chrysler buildings but it's the ivy-clad brick archways, glowy string lights, and Mexican tile-topped tables that create this watering hole's vibrant piazza feel. April Bloomfield's formidable Salvation Taco dispatches inventive tortillas (short rib in coconut curry, chicken tinga) from the first-floor restaurant while the bar slings frozen margaritas, agave-leaning craft cocktails, and imported beers.

Great local spot in the east midtown area. Love dropping by here. You can sit outside or inside and have a wonderful conversation without anyone bothering you or interrupting. It has a really fun unique architectural design with a splash of nature and old New York in it. They have some fun drinks to try out as you relax and enjoy the view. You can go there with a friend or a group of friends it is very chill.

One of my favourite places we visited on our trip to New York. The drinks menu has all of your usual beers, wines and cocktails, but it's the view that makes this place so special - something that has to be seen to be believed. Beware though, it gets pretty busy and seating is limited, so you have to move quick when seats free up if you want to sit down!

I love this spot. Really cute roof top - best roof top in the area. Gets super crowded and you can wait up to an hour to get up there sometimes which sucks - mostly on weekends. Beers are around $8 and cocktails are $14. They also have a small menu of tacos and guac.

Great for an after work chill, small but good views and the cocktails are delicious. You can also order from their joint salvation taco restaurant which is a bonus

Love bringing out of town friends & family to this rooftop. The city vibe at its fullest with great views, crowds & drinks.  you feel as if you are in the city but the facade makes you feel as if you are else where, until you see the Empire State Building peeking around the corner, you remember that you are in the greatest city on earth. Hungry??? Run downstairs and grab yourself a taco from the famous Taco Salvation!!!!!
