A giant carnival will be taking over South Street Seaport this weekend

A 40-foot Ferris Wheel, cotton candy and lobster rolls? Yes, please! There’s a huge carnival coming to South Street Seaport on Saturday 10, and you’ll never guess why. (Hint: It’s related to New York Fashion Week).

In honor of Tommy Hilfiger’s recent collaboration with supermodel Gigi Hadid, the two powerhouses are throwing an extravagant fair complete with a record shop and listening booth, temporary tattoo artists, nautical nail art, iconic rides and traditional carnival grub such as pretzels, hot dogs, cotton candy, doughnuts and lobster rolls.

You’ll also have the chance to shop the new TommyxGigi collection, and you might even get the opportunity to meet Ms. Hadid herself (she’s expected to make an appearance).
