Get ready to rock... climb!
The Cliffs indoor rock-climbing gym is bringing a new location (and another big neighborhood addition) to Harlem across from the Apollo Theater, DNAinfo reports. Construction begins at the West 125th Street site this week, and the gym is expected to open in spring 2018.
The Cliffs already has locations in Long Island City, DUMBO and Westchester (which you can join now for $85 to $155 a month), but the Harlem gym will be its second-largest location at 15,000 square feet. Plus, owner Mike Wolfer says he plans to offer free after-school programs for neighborhood kids. Sweet!
