Finally! Four months after a fire shut down Park Slope’s Union Hall bar, the venue is reopening its upstairs half. In May, the quirky bar started hosting shows in its basement again, but it’s taken until now to get the gorgeous library-filled upstairs portion looking presentable.

On Friday, July 21, it will once again open its doors to the parlor-like bar outfitted with antique globes, fireplaces and stuffed-to-the-gills bookshelves (plus several new couches). Though the bar officially opens at 1pm, from 5 to 8pm there’s an extra-long happy hour where you can celebrate with $3 Sixpoints. There will also be other drink specials throughout the evening, and the festivities won't end until 4am.

Even if you can’t make it to the opening night extravaganza, the venue frequently hosts comedy shows from the likes of Judd Apatow and Mike Birbiglia. And there’s bocce. What more could you want?
