Start saying your goodbyes to summer at the final BBQ Blowout of the season tomorrow, August 13 in Good Company’s backyard patio. A $10 online ticket ($15 at the door) to the cookout gets you a Brooklyn Summer Ale and a plate piled with grilled grub courtesy of New York Sushi Ko’s John Daley (Masa, 15 East) from 7:30–10:30pm.
After first marinating pork ribs in pineapple juice and soy sauce, Daley will braise the racks in beer and then finish them on the grill. On the side, he’s tossing a Hawaiian-style slaw of red, Korean and Napa cabbages with fresh pineapple and burdock roots. For dessert, Ciao Bella will scoop gelato that should cool you down after all of the sizzling barbecue—or give you enough of a sugar high to cut a rug while DJ YOUSS mixes beats from Copenhagen.
