Empire Mayonnaise to create flavor inspired by Kevin Hart's SNL sketch

In his spot-on parody of Bushwick on Saturday Night Live last week, Kevin Hart brags about spin classes, boozy brunch and dog-walking with fellow Brooklynites, played by Kenan Thompson and Jay Pharoah. Hart touts the garlic-truffle flavor at the fictional Martha's Mayonnaise as a "must-have" and we couldn't help but notice that the storefront is actually home to wd~50 vet Sam Mason's Empire Mayonnaise

And now the real spread shop will release Hart's fictional flavor in the coming weeks. "It will be amazing," says co-owner Elizabeth Valleau. "We've mixed our roasted garlic with our truffle before and it's been good." A four-ounce jar of classic-style spread is $5, but a jar of white truffle does, in fact, cost $8 as Hart complains at the end of the sketch. "It's getting crazy out here," he says.

This isn't the first time the comedy show has inspired good eats, including those killer Ben & Jerry's pints from this summer. (Lazy Sunday, anyone?)
