While free food is always great—we love gratis coffee and cookie shots—getting free cupcakes and meeting Broadway stars is on another level. On Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 2–4pm, Buddy Valastro's Cake Boss Café will host performers from Motown The Musical, Cinderella, Pippin and Honeymoon in Vegas while handing out complimentary chocolate and vanilla cupcakes.
The sweets, a tribute to the shop’s favorite shows, will be topped with buttercream and decked out in true Broadway style: Expect a sprinkling of mini puckered red lips for Honeymoon in Vegas, a glittering record atop Motown’s treat and a glass slipper centered on the blue-frosted Cinderella cupcake. Scarf down your dessert and then meet Nathaniel Cullors (Motown), Nancy Opel (Honeymoon in Vegas), Stephanie Gibson (Cinderella) and Carly Hughes (Pippin) for photos and autographs.
If you miss the free swag—or don’t feel like waiting in line around the block—these Broadway bites will be available through the end of the year at $4 each or $20 for six.
