Remember pogs? Remember coming to school with cylindrical plastic cases packed to the brim with pogs decorated with your favorite cartoons? Remember slamming your pogs onto your friends but never really knowing the rules or what the hell was going on? We can all relive those sweet memories at Brooklyn Pogs, a pog paradise opening in Williamsburg on August 31.

The store will let you buy, sell, trade and, of course, play pogs. There will be unique and rare sets on display (one might say all pogs are rare nowadays). And if you get hungry while playing a game meant for children, don't worry, you can eat like a child too. Dig into the cereal bar for $5.99, and expect a bar to come soon if their liquor license comes through. Booze, cereal and cartoons? Sounds like most of my Sundays, honestly.

You can RSVP for their opening party on August 31, then be on the lookout for future themed nights, like '80s night karaoke on September 2.
