For its 2017 edition, Afropunk Brooklyn really pulled out the stops, hosting a front-to-back lineup of top-notch music. On day one, those who showed up early were rewarded with sets by R&B singer QUIÑ, soul trio King, and hip-hop acts Leikeli47 and Princess Nokia, all of whom seriously impressed in the August heat. Once the sun set, Solange, SZA and the rest delivered captivating performances, sending summer off right with one of the best Saturday nights of the year
