The world’s best chef—Massimo Bottura—is opening a restaurant in the Bronx, and now the neighborhood is getting what is arguably one of the best department stores in the world: Saks Off 5th.
The Real Deal reports that the outlet division of Saks Fifth Avenue (with killer deals) has secured a 10-year lease for its first-ever Bronx location, which is anticipated to open this summer. It seems like the brand has been pretty busy lately, as the chain just opened a new luxury store downtown at the southern end of Brookfield Place. And while we certainly don’t need another excuse to go shopping at what will surely become one of the best new stores in NYC, we’re definitely excited that Saks’ newest discount emporium is coming to such a great neighborhood.
