As much as we loved the 5-cent cocktail series at the High Line this summer, nothing beats free drinks. This Saturday, Oct 25, Owl's Brew will host a haunted fête—this time with complimentary cocktails and take-home Halloween costumes. If you're game to drink and get dressed up, head to Riff Raff's from noon–5pm for tea-based drinks. But plan to get there early: Free booze always draws a crowd.
At the day-long happy hour, choose from three spooky sips and snack on Bantam Bagels bite-sized snacks. Then get dressed up in full attire with costumes like Batman, Harry Potter and the Queen of Hearts. (There are even Rihanna and Lady Gaga get-ups!) Or mix and match smaller pieces like mohawk wigs, cowboy hats, clown noses, tutus and bunny ears. When you've made your picks, ask the on-hand makeup artist from Oasis Day Spa to make you over as your character.
