2016 is ending (thank god) but so are all of these amazing art, theater and music shows. See them while you still can!

Showgasm
Actor and comedian John Early’s eclectic variety show, with his wine-guzzling sidekick DJ Hamm Samwich, will go on without him after this final hosting gig. Don’t miss a sure to be bizarre evening.

Bon Iver
The melancholy indie prince returns to New York for 10 performances, all of which are sold out. But you can still score tickets on reselling sites like stubhub.com—it’s worth it.

BAM Next Wave Festival
Catch the end of the months-long fest of dynamic films, music and theater, like a contemporary retelling of Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale that runs through Sunday 11.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater
In its 46th season, the Alvin Ailey troupe puts on a different selection of dozens of works—including Kyle Abraham’s Untitled America and Mauro Bigonzetti’s Deep—each night.

The Grand Paradise
Immerse yourself in a ’70s-era tropical resort as you wander and see what unfurls. Expect performers to whisk you away for intimate moments.
