By now, you must have heard about the Tin Building by Jean-Georges, the sprawling culinary market by the chef that used to be home to the Fulton Fish Market by the South Street Seaport.

The 53,000-square-foot food hall opened for limited previews last month but New Yorkers who haven't been able to get down there just yet will rejoice at the fact that a food truck is currently roaming around town, delivering free samples inspired by the culinary destination.

The truck, a vintage Citroën truck complete with a mobile kitchen and outdoor furniture, was spotted in the Hamptons and Domino Park already and it is scheduled to make the following stops throughout September:

September 20 from 2 to 5pm: Chelsea Triangle in Manhattan

September 27 from 2 to 5pm: Bowling Green in Manhattan

September 28 from 1 to 4pm: Outside the New York Stock exchange in Manhattan

Among the various menu offerings on board are lobster rolls, green chickpea hummus and a bunch of desserts—all items calling out to the six full-service restaurants, variety of grocery stores, bars and quick-service counters that now call the Tin Building home.

The hunter green truck will be easy to spot so make sure to stop by the various designated locations throughout September to get a taste of one of the most exciting new gastronomic openings in town.
