Pitchfork and October (the beer culture website, not the month) have taken the best parts of music festivals (the acts) and beer fests (the suds) and combined them into one kick-ass event coined OctFest: An International Beer, Music and Food Celebration.

You may have heard of the event, which made its debut last year, and we're happy to report that the bash is returning to NYC for another year. Set for September 8 and 9 on Governors Island, ticket holders can expect a killer lineup of brews and bands including rapper Vince Staples on Saturday and the Flaming Lips on Sunday. Prices ($75 for a single day and $140 for a weekend pass) are also very reasonable and include 15 beer samples per day.
