After a four-year absence, Disney Cruise Line is bringing the Disney Wish back to New York City in fall 2027—meaning New Yorkers will once again be able to swap a cab to LaGuardia for a more magical route out of town.
The Disney Wish, one of the cruise line’s newer ships, will sail from the city on seven special voyages beginning in late September 2027. The lineup includes four- to seven-night itineraries to Bermuda, as well as a fall foliage cruise through New England and Canada.
Five of the sailings will head to Bermuda, home to pink-sand beaches, bright blue water and plenty of sunshine. Three of those trips will include an extra day on the island, giving passengers more time to explore beyond the vessel.

For leaf-peepers, Disney is also planning a coastal route that calls at Boston; Saint John, New Brunswick; and Halifax, Nova Scotia. The itinerary marks Disney Cruise Line’s first return to New England and Canada from New York in nearly four years, timed for peak autumn color along the Atlantic coast.
The Disney Wish last sailed from New York in 2023. Its return is part of Disney Cruise Line’s newly announced fall 2027 and spring 2028 schedule, which includes additional departures from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Port Canaveral, Fort Lauderdale, San Diego and Galveston. But the local sailing season comes with one especially ambitious extra journey: After its New York run, the Wish will embark on a five-night repositioning cruise to San Juan with a stop in Bermuda.
“Disney Cruise Line is proud to be a leader in family cruising, helping our guests create lasting memories in even more destinations,” Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line Operations, said in a statement. “We are delighted to return to a guest-favorite port in New York.”
Disney has not yet released the full pricing breakdown for the New York sailings, but early booking opens on August 31 for select Castaway Club members. Everyone else can start booking on September 8.
